💥 Special Announcement 💥 🟢 Daar Ibn Umar will suspend all of it's regular programs from after Jum'uah for the Annual Sydney Ijtimah. The Madrasah will open for prayers only and will be locked immediately after for these 3 days. 🕋 Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is a collective responsibility of the Muslims (Fardh al-Kifaya). Allah Most High says: { كُنتُمۡ خَیۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّه } “You are the best of Nations, involved for mankind, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is evil.” (Surah Ali Imran, V:110). This collective responsibility of the Muslims requires an organized effort, and this is exactly what the Jama’ah of Tabligh is doing. The coming together of the general Muslim community under the guidance of local, national and international scholars, for a weekend of collective concern on how the Deen of Allah can come alive in the hearts and lives of the entire world is a great achievement that has changed the lives of Muslims on a global scale. 🌏 The Annual Ijtimah is undoubtably one of the most amazing and blessed gatherings we are fortunate to have here in Australia and around the world. We now see these type of gatherings being replicated by other organisations, some of them even using the name Ijtimah. ▪Due to the ability of this gathering to bring immense blessings and a positive change in the lives of the Muslim community, and the whole world, Daar Ibn Umar will close during the Ijtimah. ▪We encourage all those brothers who are available to attend this blessed gathering from the start to finish. And we pray that it becomes a means of our guidance, and guidance for the entire world. 💥 Ijtimah Details 💥 📍Where: Masjid Al Noor 1 Ferndell St, South Granville NSW 2142 https://maps.app.goo.gl/cym39jVv2iHMNnAp7 🗓 When: December 23rd, 24th, 25th Begins Friday after Asr- Concludes Monday after Fajr 🛐 Prayer times for Masjid Al Noor https://mawaqit.net/en/masjidalnoorsydney Lectures from Local & Guest Mashaa'ikh after each Salaah
