First Ladies Hifz Completion

🌿 Historic Milestone at Daar Ibn Umar: First Ladies Hifz Completion in Campbelltown

اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ

Assalāmu ʿAlaykum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

Daar Ibn Umar is honoured to share a moment of immense blessing and history with our community. On Monday 03 November 2025, our Madrasah hosted a Khatm al-Qur’ān Ceremony, marking the completion of Hifz by one of our full-time students.

🌸 A Milestone for Campbelltown and Daar Ibn Umar

We are proud to announce that:🌸 ADDEN KHAN 🌸 has completed her memorisation of the Noble Qur’an.

This remarkable achievement was not a brief or casual effort — Adden completed her Hifz after successfully passing her final exam by reciting the entire Qur’an from memory, beginning with Surah Al-Fātiḥah and ending with Surah An-Nās. She recited approximately 6 Juzʾ (120 pages) per day, over the course of five consecutive days (Monday to Friday).

With this, Adden has become the first girl to complete her Hifz in Campbelltown — at Daar Ibn Umar.

A Spring of Qur’an in Campbelltown

For many years, families in Campbelltown had to travel to other suburbs and regions to find full-time Qur’an programs. As a community we used to “journey to drink from the well of Qur’an.”

Today by Allah’s grace Allah has placed a spring of Qur’an right here in Campbelltown.

A spring flowing with:
- Barakah (blessing),
- Guidance,
- A continuous chain (sanad) that reaches back to the Prophet ﷺ,
- And a legacy tracing to the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah.

Adden’s achievement is not only a personal accomplishment it is evidence of a living miracle of the Qur’an unfolding before our eyes.

Dedication, Sacrifice, and Duʿā. Her journey reflects countless hours of:
- Discipline
- Patience
- Review and revision
- Tears and silent duʿā

This success is also a reflection of the dedication of her teachers our Ustādhah (Girls’ Hifz), Mufti Abdul Kareem, and Hafiz Kasim, who continue to plant seeds of Qur’an in the next generation.

Prophetic Virtues of Learning Qur’an

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"خَيْرُكُم مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ"
“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”

He ﷺ also said:

“Whoever recites the Quran, learns it, and acts upon it will be adorned with a crown of light on the Day of Judgment, its light being like the light of the sun. His parents will be dressed in two garments that the world could not compare to. They will say, ‘Why have we been dressed in these?’ It will be said, ‘Because your child took (memorized) the Quran.”

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who did it.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Every person involved — her parents, her teachers, and everyone who supports Daar Ibn Umar — shares in this reward.

🌟 A Message to Our Community

This completion is not the end of her journey it is the beginning of a legacy.

Our vision is that from Campbelltown, young boys and girls will:
Carry the Qur’an in their hearts,
Embody its teachings through character and action, and
Spread its light across Australia and the world.

As a community, let us continue supporting this spring of Qur’an that Allah has placed in our midst. May this be the first of many, and may Allah allow us to witness generation after generation completing the Qur’an with sincerity, humility, and steadfastness.

اللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ نُورًا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ.
